Looking
back the process of activity of National Company for Vegetable Oils, Aromas
and Cosmetics of Vietnam from its foundation up till now, we are glad as
seeing that we have adapted to the market structure, always accomplishing
the economic targets assigned by Ministry and State. We might take out the
following precious experiences:
1. Developing the strength of entire cadres –
staff, highlighting the right of collective mastery of the labors,
mobilizing the spirit of unanimous solidarity, together supporting for
together progress.
Experiencing 25 years of activity, the whole cadres – staff of Company had
defined its key role in building and innovating the business of vegetable
oil, adapted to the market structure. The Company’s staff had united closely
with Company in difficult conditions, devoted to profession, developed
dynamic character, creativeness, offered improvements in work and
contributed many important opinions to the leaders in improving the
administrative structure.
Company’s staff always participates positively in emulating movements, saves
in production, has spirit of learning for progress, and cultivates the
profession for satisfying the request of work higher day by day.
2. Comprehensive leading role of the Party
Together with the development growing up of Company, the task of
building structure of the Party in Company developed day by day. Grasping
thoroughly the Instructions, the Resolutions, the Policies of the Party and
State, Party’s committees and Party’s cells in Company have made use of
those policies in production and business. Leaders of units have strived to
accomplish the obligations and plans entrusted by the State. The Party’s
committees had propagated Resolutions, current affairs … to contribute in
upgrading the level of political awareness of the public, building the group
of cadres – Party members capable to undertake the responsibilities
entrusted by the Party and State.
3. The role of organizations – unions
Labor union, Hochiminh Young Communist League of the Company had made
important contributions in activity of business – production, being as the
bridge between labors and leaders of the units, together with the leaders to
mobilize the masses by emulating movements annually to work-out the
obligations in production – business.
Union is an important factor in implementing democracy, holding Staff
Assembly, signing collective labor contracts yearly and defending interest
of the labors. Labor union and Hochiminh Young Communist League being also
the positive factor in mobilizing and calling people to carry-out social
activities as: building gratitude – compassion houses, assisting the heroic
Vietnamese mothers, supporting people in natural calamity etc.
4. Dynamic character of the leaders and the management of Company
In the last time, the Company’s management of later generation
inheriting and developing the achievements of previous generation has always
tried the best effort, learn positively to upgrade profession, been keen in
business to catch up opportunity for timely planning the business strategies
proper and suitable with social – economic conditions. We have taken
strategy of business development as guideline for all activities, orienting
activity of business to that common target.
With big problems, the management has discussed together with the key cadres
for better unanimous solution. The Company’s office staff with good
education level, fervor and dynamic character has always been positive and
initiative in work and offering realistic opinions, contributed in
improvement of management, together with the Company’s leaders and State
agencies take participating in building policies, important institutions for
business of vegetable oil, in help for development in innovation period.
5. Intensifying the training, cultivation,
upgrading the level of cadres – staff and frequently paying interest in the
living of cadres – staff
Company is always affirming that the human being is a central factor making
great strength, contributing in the success of the unit. Therefore, Company
always pays concern on policy of employment, training human resource better
day by day. Company has evaluated duly the effort of labors with proper
salary policy, executed justice, democracy in policy of salary, bonus,
executed strictly the regimes of Social Insurance, Medical Insurance, Labor
Insurance. Company had held training courses upgrading profession and
encouraging, facilitating the cadres – staff to study more or learning
experiences of foreign countries to form a group of cadres – staff skilled,
knowledgeable, steady in work, ready to get obligations more onerous.
Besides, Company always pays concern to the material and morale life of the
labors as well as their children, holding annual holidays, commending and
rewarding the labors’ children of good study achievements, holding sportive
events, joyful performances in Company … However, due to its fund limited
then the human investment being restricted.
6. A very important factor promoting and supporting
the activity of Company being the concerns of State, of Ministry of
Industry, of central and local agencies
In the last time, the State had facilitated many opportunities for Company’s
activity: leaving aside temporarily the outstanding debenture loan from
co-operation program of former USSR – East Germany, the functional ministry
had offered policy restricting the import of refined vegetable oil in a
fixed time, so that Company might increase production and bringing back some
part of investment capital, intensifying some amount of mobile capital to
Company and factories … The concern and support of State is an encouragement
and being as an important factor assisting Company in stepping up steadily
in the next stage.
Age of
25 for human life is fair, lively, but for history of development of a
Company, it’s too short. Our present and future exist with many worries on
material facilities, on shortcomings in techniques, on limitation in
capital, on restriction in knowledge and experience. However, with
experience in a quarter of century of industry of Vietnam vegetable oil,
stepping into new century, we still have the elders who always concerning,
supporting and guiding. We also have the concern and instruction of Ministry
of Industry, of Government and of State agencies, the assistance of friends
inland and abroad. A more important factor is our own effort, the unanimous
solidarity, developing the internal force of management and the whole staff
of National Company for Vegetable Oils, Aromas and Cosmetics of Vietnam;
surely we should strive to overcome difficulties, obstacles in the new path
to accomplish assignments excellently.
